I have been married to Clare since 1991 and we have two children, Niall and Kerry. I guess it must nearly be time for us to grow up now...
My main hobby outside work is wine tasting. I have started on the Wine and Spirit Education Trust's exams and have passed my Certificate and was awarded a distinction in my Higher Certificate. I'd like to go on to do my Diploma, if I can ever find the time and energy. I am currently a committee member for the Scottish Wine Society.
My other interests include a broad range of films and books (from Coppola to Kurosawa and from Austen to Asimov).
